The 2004 Stonier Reserve Chardonnay was 100% barrel fermented in French oak barriques, of which 30% was new, with natural malolactic fermentation occurring in all the barrels. The wine was lees-stirred monthly during the eleven months in barrel, before racking and filtering prior to bottling in early March.
