Winemaker's Notes: The 2009 Ueberroth is very much in keeping with the vintage overall and shows rich texture and weight. Given the vineyard site, this wine should be lean and mean; however, the low yielding, ancient vines produce concentrated wines with restraint. The mid-palate is weighty with blue and black fruits, a hint of spice, and garrigue. This is a cellar-worthy wine that will go the distance.
