A wonderfully complete vintage with a lot of everything. PRIMA 2009 is expressive and mature, powerful but accessible with melted tannins and precise fruit.
The winter was blessed with the absence of frost with unequal sprouting mid-April. The Spring had no rainfall with flowering coming 15 days earlier than the previous year. Veraison came early due to a hot summer. Harvesting commenced early September with progressive maturing, according to the location of the parcels and the water reserves of the vines.
