Montesquieu wines seem to be purchased juice or branded wines from other producers and sold through their telemarketing operation. Previously they were sold as boutique producers. Lately they have been labeled as produced by Montesquieu which is a big step in disclosure. They are not alone in this practice of selling excess product, although most others sell at a significant discount, Montesquieu wines are marketed as a premium, exclusive product.
