Winemaker's Notes: Ah, the Ueberroth. One of our favorite wines at the winery year in and year out. The 2010 has more base notes; a darker, deeper, more brooding wine. In keeping with the somewhat musical metaphor of these tasting notes, this wine is the full choir: tannin, texture, spice and concentration. Almost similar to a southern Rhône wine, the Ueberroth has garrigue, wild chaparral and dry extract, all of which make for a thoroughly unique drinking experience.
