Winemaker Notes:
76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petite Verdot, 2% Charbono.
100% Frediani Vineyard, Rosedale Road Block; Soil: Rare Pleasanton gravelly loam.
Fermented for 19 days, basket pressed, settled and racked into barrels. 21 months in 60% new Taransaud French Oak barrels; 40% once-used Taransaud barrels

Tasting Notes:
Typical of our 2010's, this is a huge mouthful of wine. It opens with jammy fruit followed by intense grapey flavors, firm acid, smoky background oak and a lingering,
smooth finish wrapped in a thick purple and black that coats the glass. Decanting brings out the bold chocolate, spicy cassis and earth. This is a wine for the cellar.
