Sterling Vineyards wines express true varietal character—that set of aromas and flavors that grapes develop when grown in the terroir that suits them best. We strive to highlight each wine’s unique personality and deliver the quality that has delighted wine lovers for decades. In 1964, we became landowners of our first vineyards in Calistoga. This blend is a tribute to all of the great vineyards we now work with in Napa Valley, from the Carneros District in the south to the northern reaches of Calistoga.

Small-berried Cabernet Sauvignon provides the wine’s core, giving it depth of dark fruit character and structure. Merlot from the Yountville AVA in the heart of the Napa Valley adds bright red plum notes and heightened aromas. And finally, the fusion of Petite Verdot, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Syrah brushes the wine with hints of violet and spice.
