(From the Carol Shelton Wine Club notes, Nov. 2009): The Lopez Vineyard really is at a freeway intersection in Rancho Cucamonga, 70 miles due east of LA. The 91-year-old vines struggle in the sand and rocks with NO added water, yielding only 1/4 ton per acre.
