The most representative wine of the estate, Clerico's Barolo “Ciabot Mentin” comes from vines planted at 400 meters with south to southeast exposure, giving the wine its characteristic explosive aromas of ripe red fruit, liquorice and mint.

Vinification and aging: Sourced from 40-50 year old vines in the Ginestra cru of Monforte d’Alba. Maceration with the skins in rotor fermenter for 20-30 days, ageing in oak barriques (80% new – 20% second passage) for 24-30 months.
