According to Robert Parker, "Chante Le Merle Vieilles Vignes comes from extremely old vines (90-100 years of age)." It is a blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre grown on "pure limestone overlaid with the famed rocks the locals call galets roules." (WA)
