“80% Merlot & 20% C.F. harvested 9/25 – 10/15 from a 20 ha vyd with clay limestone soils, a S-SW orientation, & vines averaging 30 yrs of age. After a meticulous selection process on the vines and in the winery, the sorted grapes are filled into concrete tanks or directly into Bordeaux barrels (about 25% of the harvest). Aged for 15 mos in 40% new, 40% 1-wine, & 20% 2-wine barrels.”
