“100% Merlot from the Galatrona-Feriale Vyd planted @ 820 – 1,640 ft asl in mostly loam soil, with variable rocky stratifications of schist, marl, & sandstone; Natural vinification with native yeasts in concrete vats; Soft & frequent manual pumping over; Skin maceration over 18 days; Aged 18 mos in FR barriques (1/3 new); Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in wood; Constant batonnage of the fine less during the first 6 mos of aging; 13.5% ABV, 5.70 g/l T.A., & 3.72 pH; 25,000 bottles produced.”
