40% of the grapes for this wine were sourced from the homegrown Tensley Vineyard, with its wonderful sun exposure, gentle slopes, and sandy soils. 60% of the grapes were sourced from the extreme terrain of the highly praised Colson Canyon Vineyard.

The blend of these vineyards brings together bright, fresh raspberry and cherry notes matched with dark blackberry, plum, and bacon. The finish is long, silky, and balanced.

The Noir aged for 16 months in 60% new and 40% neutral French oak barrels. It is the only wine to be aged this long here at Tensley, and is made from the very best barrels each vineyard had to offer.

While this wine is drinkable now, it can also age up to 25 years.
