From Napa Wine Co's Website: Pam Starr created Crocker & Starr wines by forming a partnership with a historic vineyard in St. Helena – A place of diverse soil profiles a history of winemaking dating back to 1870’s. The opportunity to redesign old vines and plant the future vines from the ground up by matching soil, stock, and climate hit home with her expertise – a partnership between the historic vineyard and herself was born.

Tasting Notes:

Deep and broad flavors of dark chocolate and ripe blackberry fringed with exotic mineral and soil flavors and textures. The palate is silky and creamy yet has a depth in core that is not typical of the 2003 vintage. Powerful and elegance all wrapped into one beautiful bottle.

Aged in French Oak for 20 months, 70% new.
84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot
Cases Produced: 594
