"Good deep ruby red color. Broad spectrum of perfectly integrated aromas: initially vibrant cola, which darkens to black cherry, then expands to cassis and cocoa with the faintest suggestion of fresh mint - all underpinned by signature Larkmead graphite minerality. The flavors follow the aromatic profile on a palate that is vibrant and intense, broad and densely textured yet retains an element of subtlety and nuance. Ripe yet firm tannins and measured acidity bring balance and length to a full-bodied, layered finish.
On the heels of our 2007 estate Cabernet release, comes the new vintage of Firebelle and what a beauty it is. Packed with unmistakable Larkmead character, it is a wine to enjoy on release or cellar for up to ten years. The pedigree of the 2007 vintage dominates the wine from the first swirl - this is our finest Firebelle effort yet and a wine which combines a classic vineyard profile with subtle winemaking influences... the combination is delicious. We will be enjoying this wine for many years to come."
