Rhone lovers will grab this by the case! Why? – This is one of the best deals you will see out of the Southern Rhone this year – 95/94-Point Chateauneuf-du-Pape from the 98-Point Parker, 2007 vintage – the best vintage in Chateauneuf-du-Pape in more than 10 years!

In 2006, Bordeaux’s famed proprietor of Lynch Bages, Jean-Michel Cazes, took over this CdP property, and the results have been tremendous. Here’s what Parker says about the Sénécheaux wines since:

“Their wines are hitting heights I have never seen before at Domaine des Senechaux. The new owners’ first complete vintage was 2007, and it is no coincidence it is the finest wine I have ever tasted from Domaine des Senechaux.”

The estate, named after CdP’s lieu-dit Bois Sénéseau, dates back to the 14th century. Traditionally made, the ’07 is predominantly Grenache, sourced from the estate’s 3 parcels on the CdP plateau - Bois Sénéchaux, Les Revés, and Grand Pierre. This is the only red CdP that Sénéchaux produces!
