Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "The intense, opaque black-purple wine loses no color to a black-purple rim. Black-fruit aromas open to reveal perfumed, exotic oak spices. A structured palate shows seamless blackberry & elderberry fruit, developing into a dark-licorice & graphite core. Fine silky & graphite smooth tannins are well-married to the fruit in a long, harmonious finish. Sweet-spice touches adorn juicy black-fruit, ending with licorice, graphite & saline notes." - 04/23 DCAMW
