With about two hours of decanting, we enjoyed the balance of fruit purity and acidity under sunny skies. It is certainly no dainty Aussie Shiraz, but it doesn't club you over the head senseless, either. Tannins have resolved after decanting, so it's ready to drink.

Definitely drunk way too early, it finally showed its true self after an hour in the glass. Decant at this point.

Lots of cranberry and sour cherry notes with this well-priced beauty. Goes well with a turkey dinner, and a good preview of a strong vintage.
