Opened up just a bit after ~ 1 hr. Very one dementional, not all that much going on. If I didn't know the price I would guess it as a $10 - $20 cali cab. Last Silver Oak in the cellar, finally.

Infanticide Sunday, impending purchase of 2006 Galitzine Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Palengat Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, so why not pop one. When removing cork, black/blue fruits jumped out of the bottle. Upon first taste within 1 min of opening, pure liquid velvet, and black fruit, significant tannins. Within 5 minutes of being opened, it was 100% closed.
7+ Hour after rest in the decanter, it hadn’t budged a bit. No liquid velvet, just oak and un-relenting tannins Tasted one last time, and put back in the bottle for another 24 hour rest.
Day two… tannins have softened a bit. Black fruits, toast oak, vanillin, minerals, very tasty stuff. New apprecation of Washington Cabernet, better than a few $200+ Oakville Cabernets. Needs time, don’t even think about this one without a VERY healthy decant. (95+ in 5 years or so)
