Definitely on the mellow side of life right now. For those of us who love this wine for it's vibrancy and the Dry Stack Vineyard fruit, it's a bit of a disappointment. The purity and essence of what we considered on of the best California S.B.'s really is there and it's a unique wine.

Drank across two evenings with the second one better after a Vacuvin rest. Lots of complex flavors of red and dark red fruit. Full and nicely balanced. What a wonderful wine at such a nice price.

Rather sweet, but very nice. Could use more aging to help this one become more harmonious.

Well, on your next visit to Niagara, do try some of the whites, many of which have improved dramatically in the past few years.
