Third bottle we've had over the course of six months. All of them great and consistent. Typical good Bordeaux nose and flavor. Floral, especially violets. Hints of citrus and yeast. Great structure -- could probably drink this for another five years.

BV brought this over for dinner tonight. Our first red of the evening, after a California Chardonnay with the soufflé appetizer. Cinnamon at first taste, followed by requisite chocolate, leather and hints of tobacco. Firm structure. Debate amongst us after noticing a fair amount of tannins: Did we open this too early? Could it hold another five years? Consensus: most likely. Dinner was shepherd's pie -- a fine complement. Didn't matter. Glad we took it out of the cabinet.

Delicate florals give away to a citrus bomb. Finish goes toward green vegetables.
