Surprised to see quite a few notes saying wine is past maturity. My bottles all have fills maybe 1/4” or less below the cork, were bought on release and are drinking great. Seems in a prime drinking window with more room to run. Red fruited like strawberry, medium body, and nice long finish. Tannins are soft (for a beaune) and overall really drinking nicely.

I have tasted two bottles and both were very bretty. I have always been (or thought I was) brett tolerant having been raised on old school rhones back in the 90s. This is not unlike those levels of brett which were more common but I find the fruit less able to stand up in a Bojo. There seems to be some very nice, crunchy red fruit with depth in here so it is a shame it is overwhelmed by brett. It does mellow out (or I get used to it) with some air but it is a bretty bottle nonetheless with some nice Bojo tossed in.

I always enjoy the heavier La Clarine reds. This is quite nice, savory, quite well balanced, light on its feet, and with a fine finish. Interesting blend of more medium weight varietals and the blend here is quite excellent. Glad I found a stash a few years ago and still have a couple left.
