Beautiful, drank alongside Dominus 2006, and Phelps 2005. Was the best of the three. Nice peppers, hints of tabasco, leather, and tar. Can't wait to try again. Reasonable price for its excellence. I'm surprised the other reviews aren't as good. This is some serious wine and competition to Opus One. Note that the person who wrote this isn't a big Napa Cab fan. I would describe this wine as a hybrid between French and Napa, keeping the best of both.

I can understand why the winery compares it to a Condrieu. Although not as fine, it does have some similarities in body, richness. I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of oak, green apples. Not too fruity, but very complex. I can't remember all the details, but for 23$, this is the best white i've drank in this price range. Remember, taste is a matter of personal choice. I wouldn't drink this every day though, it's very present. Definitely Rhone style though.

375ml -Different, because i'm not familiar with this region and tannat grape. Coffee and notes of burnt wood. Would buy again in half bottle.
