Surprisingly 2 bottles open at church on the same day, the only difference being an hour of air. What a difference that hour made! Instead of a young brutish super Tuscan the first bottle (with more air) laid out lush fruit, appreciable oak and well rounded though still drying tannins. The second bottle was still brutish. Give it some air boys, give it some air!

1/18/2022 2:54:00 AM - I will not be looking to buy from the US for another year or two, but I will certainly reach out to you for your guidance when the time comes.
Thanks,
Richard
12/23/2021 6:16:00 PM - No worries. If in the future you want any recommendations, I'm happy to help. I was just in Porto in mid September! More of a tawny guy, but then again Madeira is my real love from that country.
12/23/2021 6:13:00 PM - Thank you. It is not an issue for today, but maybe 2-3 years from now and my focus will be wines rated by Burghound at 95 and higher, especially older wines. Grand Cru V-R, C-M, G-C and white burgundies. Also some of the top Rhones and Sauternes. I will probably buy Portuguese VP out of the UK. But future, not now.

Second verse, same as the first. Acidic and somewhat maderized.
