Dream wine: Too many wines in this world; I just take pleasure in each one on its own terms :)
Our aim is to bring you a wide selection of red wine from Burgundy that is of great QUALITY and READY TO DRINK - and (mostly) available by the single bottle.
We specialise in wines from the Cote d'Or, though we also offer some other burgundy (red and white) and some Pinot Noir wines from other regions when we believe they offer the same quality drinking experience.

Garnet tinged ruby, broad paler rim. Broad and earthy, and rather rustic on the nose, which seems afflicted by a bit of reduction to start with. Medium bodied, but rather simple. Surprisingly (to me at least) no obvious oak, and a good reflection of terroir and the year. In the end rather 1-dimensional, but nice and ready. **

Tasted blind. Quite pale but bright crimson red; medium tapering rim. Simple raspberry/cherry fruit but with a slightly green edge. Smooth and velvety on the palate but lacks a little density with some dry earthiness coming through. A bit austere on the finish. 3-

Tasted blind. Colour showing a little age. Quite voluptuous but elegantly perfumed. A touch animale too. Very pure and elegant on the palate; subtle red fruit and earthiness. Lovely finish. Super. 4
