Served straight from the wine chiller at about 55 degrees in a Riedel Vinum Zin stem. The color is dark ruby with a light hue throughout. The nose has a lit of alcohol on it but it blows off after a bit. The palate offers a velvety tannin feel with flavors of black cherry, tobacco and leather. The acid offers a nice, succinct finish. A bit off from a normal Turley but a good offering none the less. I rate it below my rating in 2007 and give it a 87-89.
As a side note, my wife tasted blind and was able to guess it was a Zin from the Napa valley area so Turley and others are pretty consistent in offering a describable product year to year.

Not my cup of tea, but not horrible. We received this as a gift for Xmas and finally opened it. Over the top fruit and a bit "stale" with no real body or finish. Had some darker flavers that my wife liked but I did not. Exhibited no Paso Robles terrior that makes me like Paso Cab (specifically from the West Side) limestone soil.

No formal notes. Had with a grilled Ribeye and tator tots. Good value, dark flavored cab with nice tannis to go along with the steak. Glass decanted for about 20 minutes before drinking.
