D0 brick red rim, crystal clear rich magenta with a figgy nose. Rewarding in the mouth, sweet fruit, caramel, spice and a surprising wallop of alcohol with a hint of acid. Great with Davistow mature cheddar! Nice port, not earth shattering but good all the same
D6 Spice and acid more subdued. Pallate dominated by sweet sugar water, caramel and rasin. A number say 90.

Wonderfully dark magenta. On the nose alcohol and soft fruit are there but subdued. Tannins are puckering on the palate. The finish is quite long with fruit and a touch of spicy ginger and hit of bitters. I can see the balance people talk about in this wine but it is so young.
A score 92 with more to come I suspect

A young wine that needs time to come together. Lovely dark crimson colour, spirit and oak dominate for the first couple of hours then the fruit starts to come through. Quite long red fruits with an alcohol kick. After 48 hours plus the spirit starts to integrate/diminish and the spicy fruit with a dollop of oak comes to the front.
Not experienced enough to score. High 80s?
