7/10/2015 8:39:00 AM - Buzzzoff- I like your moniker. It seems like you have visited some of my favorite places in France and Italy. The lady in red is my best friend (also spouse). Nice meeting you too. Regards, Chainthroer

7/9/2015 9:24:00 PM - Good to meet you Chainthroer! Sounds like tough work, but no pain, no gain ;-). We seem to enjoy similar wines so watch this space! By the way, very jealous of your visit to Sassicaia...and the lady in red :-)

8/17/2014 10:47:00 AM - Read your review of the 82 cheval. What flavors or other things would allow you to pick cheval blanc out, let's say in a blind tasting of other Bordeaux?

12/24/2012 12:05:00 PM - Thanks for your kind note! Yes, I'm glad you nailed the drinking window on your 85 MBs! Along those lines - I see you posted your 89 HaJP tasting note last summer; I obviously presume that's when you had it? I'm simply curious: if I "made you guess," would you think its "100pt drinking days" were slightly ahead or behind that date...(~22yrs from vintage)? I have a couple 99s & 00s that I'm obviously saving but, it's never too early to strategize! I'm obsessed with that wine - literally can't wait to open "the next one," whenever that blessed day may be. Cheers Chainthroer - Merry Holidays to you and yours too!

12/13/2012 8:26:00 AM - Hello! I'm happy to infer that you were flattered (and not put off) that I was 'heavily borrowing' a couple of your descriptors. So, thanks! I enjoyed your detail and 'voice' - drop me an email to say hello: erik.s.norton@gmail.com
