I agree with JMCNNEWJERSEY - this one is noticably different - - previous Les Granges vintages going back to 2005 have been fruit forward with soft tannin/oak and good acidity to stitch it all together. This one is different, lacking the beautiful fruit. After 2 days it completely fell apart. Bottle variation?

super cool and much needed addition to varietal list. so glad California has adopted and is planting this fascinating varietal. this producer not the most elegant but it's perfect for food in the vein of pinot noir or frappato.

Excellent value - this producer is amazing. Lucious but elegant. Bright berry notes but maintains a earthy core.
