Tried this twice, with the same impressions in both bottles. Tropical fruit and hints of oak, good acid component and salty texture, but ultimately a bit out of balance. We guessed a bit too rigorous lees stirring? Almost oxidized aromas and an almost complete lack of the steely and mineral qualities of the Chablis. In any case, the fruit and texture came to the fore, making for an all-in-all enjoyable, yet somewhat puzzling experience.

Great strength and length, lacking in the petrol notes and purity of fruit of a German; drinks almost dry, though there is some RS. Nice. 87 - 88 points.

Possibly flawed. Tasted and smelled of rubber, or the inside of an old refrigerator! Reserving score.
