Very nice overall experience. Wine evolved significantly over 3-4 hours. Nose began very currant focused followed by leather and faint berry. Initial taste was long and thin even in mid palate, pleasant but not yet unfolded and much lighter than anticipated. 2+ hours in the nose really opened up. Nose was palate was dominant cherry with richer mid palate. Matched fabulously with prime strip on cognac sauce.

capsule was nearly cemented to the bottle from seepage. The cork was dry and crumbled most way through. Had a little pop at the end which lifted my spirits. Decanted and drank slowly over 4+ hours. A few times I felt (wished) it had some life. Mostly had some taint, faint mold smell/taste. Have 7 more bottles, and hope this is the outlier.
