Wine is a passion.
It flows through my veins and injects itself into every thought and most conversations that I have. I am relatively new to the wine realm, but I am actively soaking up as much as I can from the supportive community around me.
2008 Alta Mesa Cellars Tannat

Cellared this bottle for almost 10 years, and it was certainly one of the best bottles I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking! Tons of dark fruit, and tannins that had mellowed out just enough to provide a well rounded full-bodied experience with lots of extra chocolate and leather in there to round out the palate profile

The wine looks yellow gold colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like grapefruit, gooseberry, raspberry, cherry, acacia and honeysuckle. It tastes like blackberry, gooseberry, grapefruit, lychee and honeydew. The body is light/medium. The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.
