Practically undrinkable. It feels like over, over-aged, although it is only 4 yo. It could be storage condition (not mine - I drunk it a week after I bought it). Cork seems OK.

Light and easy to drink section in liqueur store is not where you look for Rhone wines. But some - including this one - are pretty close to this description. You can suspect it from the very beginning. It has a purple hue, but color is not dense. I would not call flavor sophisticated - to me it is berry, mostly blackberry, but it is elegant. It is slightly acidic, light, with hint of bitter aftertaste (which I like). It is nice, easy companion for light food. For my personal taste - which is not a benchmark - it is well paired with pizza, and I would not mind to drink it with dessert. In a way, I can call it a table wine, as it should be a food companion, and (in my opinion) is not designed to be enjoyed specifically as a fine wine, let say, with cheese. However, it is elegant and pleasant food companion.

Color is turning brick or brownish garnet indicating that it is getting old. Flavor is still there: red fruits and licorice, a little bit of tobacco, with extra complexity and nobility. However, the texture is thin, almost no body, and taste is a little sharp because alcohol, acidity and tannins (which are still there) become noticeable. I wish I could drink it a couple of years ago, but I still like it.
