Light and lovely this delightful little flower is very well suited for the tropical setting where I drank it. Honeysuckle and hibiscus with just a hint of vanilla in the nose. Not much in the way of legs at first but after opening up am glad it came to dance. Delicate little honeysuckle petals with mild mix of tropicals up front then sweet-tart cumquats to follow in the back. Just delightful and worked well with Ahi Sashimi.

Dark and dense with a great nose. Hints of spice and promises of lovely flavors in the nose. Long legs like a rockets chorus again promises of good things to come. The spice is nutmeg and the lusciousness comes from dark cherries, blueberries and blackberries. Smooth, gracious and soft on the tongue with a nice nod to the cheeks and a little pucker like a kiss. Very mild oak at the finish with a slithering warmth all the way back. Would have been great with salmon or pork but I enjoyed it with a nice New York strip.

I took a sip right after opening and my heart fell flat "Oh no, it's gone bad" - really not as good as Welches Grape Juice - very watery. Got distracted as I needed to get dinner on the table for my guests (Boeuf Bourguignon) before I opened another bottle. Just a sip before I set it aside 20 minutes later and "Oh my what a difference". A symphony of flavors - bing cherry, blackberry, hazelnut and hint of dark chocolate in the front with a nice soft feel on the tongue then white pepper and a bit of acid in the back. What a difference after it opened up. As the evening went on and I was able to get a bit of a second glass it was still just as nice and was a great compliment to the entree. I am really looking forward to the other 4 bottles I have in my cellar.
