There is a whole lot of wine in this wine. Probably best to open it an hour in advance if possible. Beautiful as it is now, this will likely improve in 5 years.

a beautiful wine, but needs much more time to resolve itself. Good acidity. Significantly sweeter and darker in color than the 85, which we drank a week prior. Unlike other Huets I have tried, this particular wine will not be compatible with a wide range of savory foods. Best to pair this with dessert or foie gras.

Wow, what a beautiful wine. Classic nebbiolo profile of violet and earth. Structure is very much intact as this wine enters its 34th year. That said, I don't think it's getting any better. Drink up if you were lucky enough to get any.
