Complex and delicious, I recall someone saying it is like, "Sunshine in a glass," and I couldn't agree more. Flavors of candied orange, apricot, walnuts, toffee, salted caramel, and nectarines. Beautiful aromas of dries apricots, figs, dates, and orange zest. Seriously, there is so much going on with this wine I could talk about it for years. Go buy a bottle, no, go buy many bottles to enjoy over the years.

On the nose, black fruit, a little anise, and leather. Very flavorful and tannic with rich blueberry and blackberry, plum, and tea. This Bandol is drinking beautifully, given the amount of tannins it could age at least 4 more years. With that said, don't feel guilty enjoying it now!

Tasted the Cowhouse over a year ago and enjoyed it enough to purchase a bottle.This time around first few tastes were very acidic, when the acid mellowed there was a good deal of oak. Disjointed and disappointing but worked with a triple cream.
