Drank over two days. On day one closed and sour. On day two more agreable with nice dark fruit, ashes, iron and medium tannin. Medium lenght. Finishes with sour cherries. Needs a long decant or another decade.

2014 really was a magic vintage for white burg. This is another prime example. Floral nose with honeysuckle, pear, pineapple, beeswax and just hints of peacan. Palate is quite fat and rich but with incredible focus and energy. The acids carries the bountiful fruit, wax, glycerol, heather and buttered bisquits all the way to the long, slightly salty and floral finish. Nothing not to like.
