Had this thing in my cellar for years, was always slightly afraid of trying it (figured it was rebranded two-buck chuck).
Actually not bad, color was a little off (brownish rim) but doesn't seem to affect the taste.
Excessively fruity California merlot nose. On the lighter side palate-wise. Fruit forward and somewhat simple, but not bad. Has decent acidity which makes it work.

Gorgeous color - pale red.
Very quaffable - simple but pleasant. Hint of strawberry but with some earthy tones.
Has an feeling of "simple authenticity" about it. In that it has character, but is not fussy or aggressive. Great QPV.
Had with white sausage first night / 2nd half of bottle with pizza next. Worked fine with both.

Agreeable. Soft fruit and mild acidity. Low alc which is nice.
