The moment of surrender comes with the first sip of the Reserve Sangiovese - cherries, dried cranberry, wild strawberry, blackberry, violets, potpourri and licorice, and exuding earthy notes of espresso and tilled soil along with mouth-gripping tannins. There is a simplicity that exists on the far side of complexity.

Dark and contemplative, this Cabernet Franc displays beautiful, deep fruit characters of plum and black cherry, uplifted by the perfume of fresh blueberries and violet pastilles. Confectionery notes of chocolate and cola show on the nose and palate, while in the glass the wine continues to breathe and change. On further exploration, sophisticated aromas of sandalwood and Brazilian mahogany reveal themselves, along with a suggestion of cured tobacco. Overall, the wine strikes a pleasant balance between plush fruit, structural tannin, and mouth-watering freshness that invites both traditional and exotic food pairings. Even without food, this silky Cabernet Franc would be equally apropos on a chilly, ski-lodge afternoon or a sunny, fall-evening barbecue.

This is a soft, youthful Cabernet with just the right amount of oak influence, combining old world charm and food-friendliness with ripe Paso flavor.
Graphite to spice box to plum to ollalieberry to vanilla and oak. Luxurious, smooth, refined tannins on the finish.
