11/3/2020 6:50:00 AM - Thanks for your post and sorry for not reacting sooner. I'm still on the Classic version and the notifications are not as obvious as in the new CT; I "found" it just now. Yeah that bottle was stored on the cellar floor for some time and so the label got a bit moldy. This was the first wine I bought en primeur and that was my last bottle of that case :-)

9/30/2020 4:06:00 AM - That is a well cellared bottle of Chateau Pichon Lalande in your Profile picture.

12/18/2014 9:53:00 PM - German Rieslings or Loire Chenin Blanc seems tp lease the wife. Funny enough she likes Lambrusco, but I can only take so much of that sweet wine.

7/4/2014 12:15:00 PM - My wife enjoyed off dry white, and the occasional dry red with sweeter tannins, but she doesn't really enjoy the aged full bodied reds. Look to Merlot red with sweet tannin or Chateauneuf de Pape in ripe vintage that go well young. My wife can do Right Bank Bordeaux blends that a Fronsac and primary on the fruit with silky tannin, but she will never enjoy it like I do. She doesn't like really sweet dessert wines, but she tolerates my love of the grapes. She loves Riesling and Chenin as much as I do, even dry. I almost forgot Grenache wines that aren't weedy, she does enjoy a glass of once in a while too. The food makes a big difference as she usually opts for poultry, but loves a steak from beef now and again.
