Red fruit on the nose with a hint of dry underbrush. Palate has juicy red fruit of light raspberry and slight cranberry that pushes earth and turns tart with light grip. Had it with a pork chop with S&P and it needs a slightly tart red fruit meat reduction sauce with a few mushrooms thrown in. Very good. Not sure if more time is needed but at 7+ years in the bottle it is very close to what it was meant to be.

Nose of red berries and earth. So smooth on the palate and then intensifies with some moderate tannins. Tastes like red mountain fruit. Young and lively and likely needs several more years to develop. I have several more so it will be fun to taste it unravel.
