8/19/2013 11:08:00 AM - Hi Roy.
I use the 100-point system developed by Robert Parker and currently used by all the major wine publications. It consists of the following:
All wines are automatically awarded 50 points.
Plus a maximum of 5 points for color.
Plus a maximum of 15 points for smell.
Plus a maximum of 20 points for taste.
Plus a maximum of 10 points for overall quality and aging potential.
Those folks who simply pick a number between 1 and 100 to score a wine aren't really doing it properly.
Cheers!

Beautiful. Drank for Thanksgiving 2023. Opened up completely after 2 hours. Time to drink up, and will be a great experience as you do.
