Garnet, fades at edges to slightly brick color. Nose of black fruit, blackberry and eucalyptus. With moderate alcohol and medium + acidity this wine has aged well. Tannins are fine & well integrated. Palate is complex with a slight vegetal note. This is at peak now but shows no signs of fading- will hold 3-5 years more.

Rich golden color - nose of botrytis with honey, apricots, pears, exotic fruits. Palate is surprising given the nose as it is dry with crisp acidity. Long finish of citrus, tangerine, and grapefruit coupled with that honeyed note. This wine is a conundrum for those that don't understand Austrian wine - if you are willing, try with an open mind and you will be pleasantly surprised!

Dark golden, very high acidity especially for the age/grape of the wine! Notes of lemon, fennel, herbal, floral and a long juicy finish. Slightly oxidized due to poor storage conditions but the grenache has held up better than expected. Very impressed - good example of aged top quality (producer) southern Rhone.
