Fairly big medium bodied pinot with lots of dark fruits, black cherry etc. Very pleasant if not very complex. Drinking well now. In looking at some of the review sites, it seems that the '09 may have been atypically bold and ripe and that the 2010 is lighter and more Burgundian.

I don't understand the low ratings of this excellent wine. This is a bordeaux-style cabernet blend that is drinking great right now. Although not jammy or overly extracted there is plently of fruit in this medium-to-full bodied wine with soft tannins and a reasonably long balanced finish. The level of fruit indicates that there is still plenty of aging left in this wine. It is just starting to get those secondary flavours that come with aged bordeaux. If you like in your face friut forward Cali cabs, look elsewhere, but I think this is terrific value for the price.

This is a terrific Gewurztraminer that compares favourably to the best of Alsace. It is pretty big and bold, with lots of fruit and spice, but backed with solid acidity to keep it fresh on the very long finish. If you like Alsace Gewurtz, you should give this a try. First had this at an NYC restuarant where they were selling it by the glass for $25, so imagine my delight when I found this on sale for $20pb!! 2002 Vintage, drinking terrific right now and showing no signs of being close to the end of its life.
