Heavily mineral nose, limestone chalk on the palate, very powerful mid-palate to finish; evolves over 2+ hours. Drank with Gary Levinson and Baya Kakouberi.

Magnum, very lovely with wonderful fruits and an adequate length of mouth feel, but (as noted in other reviews), the tannins are gone—makes for a lovely very lush wine, but not much complexity left. I have almost a case to drink up—had been saving it as it was touted to been long-lived, but compared to my 2000 Bordeaux futures, this is not going to graduate!

Quite delicious! Very compatible with Asian marinated flank steak, very well integrated, from nose to tannin (still very present but totally melded into taste profile.). Glad I waited! 1 more bottle which I’ll consume later this year.
