Good with food, but not something I'd buy again. Light and nicely acidic when first opened. Bright, red fruit. With air it got darker and oakier. Down noticeably in two hours. Two days later it was all wood and mouth coating in a bad way.

Enjoyed with Paella at Jenn and Charlie's place. Everyone enjoyed this more than expected. Spicy, fruity, full, but the 16.5% alcohol wasn't noticeable. Long finish, mouth-filling. Full, but not heavy -- it seemed to have a lightness to it compared the Cabs and Merlots we've been drinking recently.

2007 Aubert Chardonnay Ritchie Vineyard

Best bottle of Chardonnay I've ever had. Cloudy. Creamy, unique. Could be enjoyed either with food or on it's own. Completely smooth.
