immediately out of the bottle w/ one run through the aerator, wicked fruit forward. SPice, a burst of blackberry, peppery finish...or it could be the fresh pasta, bolognese and Fable's Kitchen "The Violet Beauregarde" (pork, blueberries, maple syrup, sage, thyme, s&p, spices). Wasn't expecting much from this bottle considering the last one was pretty weak, but this baby has some kick. A bit of alcohol is noticeable but the flavor punches you in the face. Bold, yet, balanced, with a knife like cut through the fats of the sausage easily and the earthy tones walk on through as if you were in a grassy farm field, taking in the smells of organic living, from cattle, great soil, a bit of dew in the air, and the flavor of water washing across native stone. Diggin it so far.
