  • 2010 Vincent Dauvissat (René & Vincent) Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses

    #dauvissat
2010 Chablis Les Preuses could be one of the top vintage for Dauvissat and really good to drink at the moment, showing excellent balance with details of the great Chablis Grand Cru, very impressive.

I prefer 2014 a little more, drinking 4-5 months ago, more lively of freshness, beautiful acidity.

But 2010 is more typical more classic.
    Wonderful Preuses !!

  • 1992 Domaine Roulot Meursault Les Luchets

    1992 Meursault Luchets
(4th vintage made by Jean-Marc Roulot)

I always happy when drinking white Burgundy from this vintage especially from Domaine Roulot.

This 30 years old is in a good timing, wine is so gorgeous and beautiful, truly classic and precise, round and smooth.

Aftertaste brings me the happy memories, long sensational finish, warm-hearted joy of Christmas.

  • 2013 Domaine Roulot Meursault 1er Cru Clos des Bouchères

    “ 100% Performing “

    #domaineroulot
I was very impressed with 2013 Meursault Poruzots tasting with Paul Delorme at Domaine Roulot in recently October 2022.

I come back to check the color’s brightness of my bottle 2013 Meursault Boucheres. It looks good promising Clear Bright & Shiny then I cross check with The Wine Light Theory and this is so true.

This bottle is showing great from the very first minute, seductive light yellow bright color.

Meursault Boucheres is always delivering super elegant like drinking Montrachet with a mild scent of Meursault minerality intermixed which gives me the beautiful combination of the special Chardonnay perfume, pure mineral, floral, fragrant, transparent, gorgeous textured, vibrant, beautifully well made, perfect round and balance with the deep smooth sensational aftertaste, a wonderful wine it is.

I also impressed with Domaine Roulot 2013 Bourgogne very much (drinking few months ago) so I confirm Roulot can get over the difficult vintage and did the tremendous work in 2013, so much energy with abundant sexy movement.

3/15/2014 5:02:00 AM - Sawasdee krab K. Noppakit. I've been living in Bangkok for a few years now, and enjoying your notes. It would be nice to meet and share some wines. My friends and I drink mainly French, Spanish and Italian. Hope to hear from you. Cheers, John

6/27/2013 1:44:00 AM - Hi Regarding La Romanee 2006 I think it is big now, but I would leave it in the cellar another 10 years. Last I tasted with Luis-Michel he showed us some wines from ´06 - ´07 and ´09. The ´07 were showing best then (2-3 months ago). But La romanee is only just in the drinking window I believe. Hope it is helpful.

11/30/2012 11:36:00 AM - In the last few years, I don't have enough time to write all the tasting note from my testing/tasting. Most of the T/N recently is quite short and less in detail but anyway, I never forget to put the score in every wine. Thanks to all members here. I still need all your T/N to guide me somehow.

  • noppakit s. says:

11/30/2012 11:25:00 AM - During 20 years of testing/tasting many many good wines all around the world. I'm not feel much like new world wines. I, myself, love to enjoy feeling the detail and all every little things about wine so I better to stick the most with all old world wines. My favorite is French and Italian wines. I'd like to drink less drink the best. No matter about the price, it must be great if it's not too expensive. Clos Rougeard, Fonsalette, Arbois, etc.

9/20/2011 1:18:00 PM - Love your reviews, quite some high class that you are drinking! Love that if you sort your wines by the score one of the very few new world wines come up first :-) Drop me a line when you're in Switzerland would love to invite you to a glass of wine!

1/13/2011 10:26:00 PM - I enjoy your notes - have you tried venturing outside of French wines? It's a wide world!
