Strikingly elegant Sauternes. Seductive viscous mouthfeel, layered w pear, honey and a shot of Meyer Lemon that continued until all of a sudden notes of Tarragon added to a finish that can captivate a novice. Texture, Body, Balance, Delicious factor..the finish tells me this is every bit 96.

Drank over 3 days. Classic Bordeaux bouquet.Prettiness and elegance continues on day 1 and 2. Much broader and masculine on day 3. Black current, cassis, mint, cedar, graphite. Good tannin structure..some oak imparted. Mint and cedar most prevalent on 3rd day. Tasted w Motz on day 2. He brought up the point that Leoville does not change oak treatment regardless of vintage. Oak is more prevalent on this vintage. With that said..my score says 93 but my enjoyment factor and wine nerve penetration scores much higher.

3rd time tasting the same bottle from Coravin. 6 months ago being the last.Wine has evolved and is much muscular than I remember. Barnyard bouquet. On the pallet..savory, chewey mouth drying, gum receding tannins. Herbaceous on all notes. Don't recall the extent of eucalyptus and mint from last tasting. The mint lingers and lingers. Great finish that just continues for minutes. 94+
