Upon opening at lunch, almost undrinkable, no nose, acidic, backward, watery. Decanted and it improved but not enough to drink a full glass. 5 hours later, the wine smells of burgundy, has put on much weight, a bit of vosne spice and is a pleasure to drink. Secondary on the nose but still primary on the palate. I could certainly see this wine improving over 20+ years but will be happy to drink along the way with the right aeration.

This wine was undrinkable (potentially flawed but remembered the last bottle) on day one even with a decant. I poured back into the bottle and let sit in the celllar. Day 2, still tight but turning into a tight but impressive Gevrey. I will drink tonight with a steak but would be tempted to let sit for another night if worked with my schedule. Three more bottles which will try to hold off for another five year to check in on. A bourgogne built for the long haul.

Started out tight, opened up about an hour after decanting. Fruity for Cornas but in an enjoyable way. Red fruits.
